Goodness!
Happy two-thousand-and-nine everybody! Well every one in Australia, little Lindsey's still suck in 2008 so I might just go back to the future and save her! I would need to drive though and that's quite a scary thought now that I think about it because I Mairead can legally drive a motor vehicle this year! ARGHH Otay I just went on a tangent but this blog was basically about my night so....
8:00pm Met up with the girls, Laura, Erica, Jorja, Paige, Gabby, and then latter Claire at Hollywoods for dinner, which was delicious we had vegetarian pizzas and lemon lime and bitters.
9:10 Left Hollywoods and started to make our way to Apex Park were the fire works would be starting any minute. Stood at mine and Ericas corner and reminisced about the Jazz Festival.
9:15 Fire works started when I was about a block away from the bridge where a managed to run to in heels seriously quickly, I was so proud, they where my Steve Maddens so I was in good hands or shoes really :) the fire works where of course amazing as always! Managed to read a text from Katie, My phone has decided to hate me and now the screens heaps dark, saying that she was with Lily soon to be joined by Jess and wanted to know what I was doing so quickly ran, again I'm awesome at running in these heels :), to my mother to explain that she loved me and that I would be fine then continued to walk/run around trying to find Katie and Lily which took longer than expected.
9:45 ish Finally found Katie and Lily well really then found me, I had just finished a conversation with Erica about her fake wine I was hidding under my cardie because I didn't have a super awesome brown paper bag, had sculled a little then started walk/running to find K and L. Hung out with them and discussed how much I love Katie's new look that Lily had created. And slightly paid attention to the movie, The Golden Compass, which was playing on the big screen only when it was truly weird, There where talking POLAR BEARS!, the rest of the time talking to Katie and Lily bout random stuff until we went to get refreshments and was given a gift from Erica, a super cool keyring of a Bird/Rabbit thing which is amazingly awesome because I need key rings to pimp my ride (aka my new Country Road bag).
11:30 ish Started to walk to Lily's mum's car and was stopped twice by Katie collecting empty bear bottles to put in the bin but that fact was made up by all the weird looks she got! Ahhh Kaite you've done it again!
11:58 Went outside Lily's lounge room to attempt (well I did they just cartwheeled) to cartwheel probably made there year watching 5 foot 9 and a half me flaying my legs wildly in the air to try and pass as a cartwheel. As Lily's mum took photos until, Judy said "Happy New Year" I hugged lily and then ran around more until we went inside and I introduced them to Look Book.
